I'm an aerospace engineer at UMD specializing in computing and robotics; I prioritize rapid design, prototyping, and testing of technical solutions utilizing cutting-edge software and hardware. Since building my first quadcopter in sixth grade, I've been dedicated to pushing the boundaries of autonomous vehicle technology. I am creating an affordable flying testbed, requiring minimal expertise to build and operate. The sUAS features autonomous flight, the ability to transmit live imagery to a ground station, and the capablity to work with another UAV to distribute tasking and imagery relay.

I am developing a cost-effective and efficient method to reinforce 3D-printed parts with carbon fiber, aiming to create durable components for UAVs mimicking exoskeletons found in nature. Comparative tests with alternative materials like Kevlar and fiberglass are used to determine the optimal reinforcement method.

I am developing a guided parachute system for the Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC) competition. The system uses a tilted parachute, angular setpoint control, and a GNC algorithm to guide the payload to a target landing zone. The system is designed to extremely robust.

This rocket is a high-power rocket I built with the Terrapin Rocketry Team to achieve my Level 1 Tripoli Rocketry Certification. I used this opportunity to demonstrate a new piece of CFD software I have been working with that allows for advanced modeling of complex systems without traditional complexity associated with directly solving the navier stokes equations.

Local AI Chatbot

Local LLM Chatbot with Image Generation Capablities

This project is a modular chatbot capable of generating images and interfacing with users on Discord, all while having the option of being self-hosted. This was achieved through the use of standardized API calls to a vLLM backend for text interpretation and stable diffusion calls when the user requests image generation.

Highest Performing Truss

Optimizing Truss Design for Maximum Strength-to-Weight Ratio

This truss is the final project required by all engineering students at UMD at the end of ENES102. The final outcome of this truss was the highest performing in terms of strength to weight ever seen at the university. I was the team lead and employed traditional engineering pricipals with FEA to optimize the design.
